How do I place an order?
Shopping at Scrapinsanity.com is simple and fast! Browse our site for the item you want. Once you have found an item you want to buy, put a quantity in the quantity box, then click the "Add to Cart" button. This button will take you to your Shopping Cart, where you will be able to see all the items you've chosen, along with quantities, prices and a subtotal.
How do I order multiple items?
For multiple quantities of the same item, type the number you want in the "Quantity" box next to the item, then click "Add to Cart". You may also change the quantity in your Shopping Cart. Just change the number of items you want and then click "Update Quantities" to see your adjusted total. If the quantity requested exceeds the amount in stock, a message will appear.
How do I remove an item once it's in my Shopping Cart?
Click "Remove" next to the item you want to delete.
After an item is in my Cart, what do I do?
Select "Keep Shopping" if you want to keep browsing. If you have found what you want and are ready to order your items, click "Check Out."
How long will items stay in my Shopping Cart?
If you are registered with Yahoo, items will remain in your Shopping Cart until purchased or removed. If you are not registered, items stay in your cart until you end your shopping session.
What happens after I select "Check Out"?
You will proceed to the "Review Order" to confirm your selections. If we don't have your Billing and Shipping information on file, you will be prompted to enter it next along with any applicable coupon code.
What if I want to change an order after I've selected "Check Out"?
After you provide your billing and shipping information, select "Continue to Checkout." The "Order Review" page will display the product total, tax (if applicable), shipping costs and grand total. This is your chance to double-check and/or modify any part of your order. You can change your order by clicking the "Modify Order" button. You can change your Billing or Shipping information by clicking the "Modify Billing & Shipping" button.
How do I complete my order?
Once your order is correct, select "Complete Order." A "Thank You/Order Number" page will appear, displaying your order number. For your records, we recommend you save or print the "Thank You/Order Number" page. You will also soon receive an order confirmation e-mail. Please note that this e-mail simply confirms that we have received your order, some items may be out of stock, backordered or even cancelled. We will make every effort to notify you in a timely manner of any changes to your order.
Can I cancel my order?
When you select "Complete this Purchase," your order is instantly submitted. If you do not want the merchandise, you may refuse the order when it is delivered. Your account will be credited when the package is received at our warehouse.
How may I check the total cost of items in my Shopping Cart?
Every time you add an item to your Shopping Cart, your current subtotal is displayed. The subtotal does not include tax (if applicable). Tax will be displayed as part of the grand total at final checkout. You will have an opportunity to modify your order after seeing your grand total.
Once I start shopping do I have to immediately proceed to check out?
No. You can continue to browse Scrapinsanity.com before finalizing your order. If you are registered with Yahoo Stores, items will remain in your shopping cart until purchased or removed (even if you leave the site). If you are not a registered with Yahoo, items will only stay in your cart until you end your shopping session.
Payment Method
What are the accepted forms of payment?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. At this time we are unable to process cash, money orders or checks.
When does my credit card get charged?
Your credit card is charged after your merchandise is shipped.
Can I put items on layaway?
Scrapinsanity.com does not offer a layaway plan.
Credit Card and Personal Security
Is it safe to use my credit card?
Absolutely! Through our Yahoo Storefront, we use secure servers and the latest Secure Socket Layers (SSL) technology to encrypt all of your personal information, including your credit card data. Once encrypted your data cannot be read as it travels over the Internet. For additional information on how Scrapinsanity.com maintains your privacy and security, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Is shopping with Scrapinsanity.com secure?
Yes. Through our Yahoo Storefront Scrapinsanity.com in using secure servers to protect your personal information, including your name, address, and credit card information. Yahoo uses the Stronghold secure server, currently the second-best selling secure server software and the best product technically. It supports industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption.
When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form and not decoded until we receive it. For added security, we also encrypt the credit card number when it is stored on disk and when we forward it to the merchant. Shopping online is considered fairly low-risk. According to CNN, "The prevalent opinion... is that online credit card use is actually no riskier for consumers than traditional 'low-tech' transactions." You should feel as safe as you would using a credit card in a store or restaurant, if not more so.
Shipping Options
Do you ship internationally?
No, at this time Scrapinsanity.com only ships within the United States and APO/FPO. Scrapinsanity.com will soon expand its shipping capabilities to include Canada and shortly thereafter

Do you ship to military bases?
Yes. Please keep in mind that delivery to military addresses may take longer than the stated times.
Do you ship to post office boxes?
Yes. To ship to a P.O. box, we use the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Do you ship to rural route numbers?
Yes. The same applies to rural route numbers as to P.O. boxes. We must ship with the United States Postal Service.
Can I send items to multiple addresses with the same order?
Not at this time. To ship items to different addresses, you need to submit separate orders for each address.
Tax
Do you charge sales tax?
If you are shipping to an address in California we are required to charge sales tax. Tax is charged on the item and not on shipping and handling according to state regulations.
Shipping Time
How will I know that my order has been shipped?
We will send a ship confirmation by e-mail with the date your order was shipped and a USPS or UPS tracking number.
When is my package shipped?
Most packages are shipped within 48 hours of your order. Delays may occur if the order is placed on a weekend or holiday, or anytime after 2 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time).

How do I find out where my package is in the shipping process?
Included in the ship confirmation e-mail will be your USPS or UPS package tracking number (s). You can visit the USPS or UPS website and track the whereabouts of your order through their package tracking systems.

How do I return an item?
Scrapinsanity.com guarantees all merchandise. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund.
If you need to return your merchandise for any reason, please complete the Return Form section on the back of your packing slip. Then repack the product in the original packing materials used to ship it to you, and enclose your completed Return Form.

How do I exchange an item?
If you have found another item that you would prefer over one you have already received, we ask that you place a separate order for the new item and that you return the unwanted item. Once the returned item has been received at our warehouse, a credit will be issued to your account (takes approximately 2-3 weeks). Please see instructions above for how to return a package.

Yes. You can exchange your item for one of equal value or we will issue you a Merchandise Credit for the amount of the item. How soon will I see my card credited if I return an item?
Your account will be credited as soon as we receive the returned item (with the packing slip). We will confirm receipt of your returned item by e-mail. Please allow two billing cycles on your credit card for the credit to appear.
How much will I be credited if I return an item?
You will be credited the purchase price of the items you return and the tax (where applicable). The shipping and handling charges will only be refunded when the return is a result of our error or damaged by USPS or UPS.
